---++2014 Caltech Ground-layer Adaptive Optics Workshop The science motivation and technological solutions for ground-layer adaptive optics (GLAO) are maturing rapidly. Improved seeing over moderate field of view (arc minutes) holds the potential to reinvigorate existing, substantial investments in 5-10 meter telescope instrumentation. This informal mini-workshop will explore the motivation and potential implementations of GLAO.
