The science motivation and technological solutions for ground-layer adaptive optics (GLAO) are maturing rapidly. Improved seeing over moderate field of view (arc minutes) holds the potential to reinvigorate existing, substantial investments in 5-10 meter telescope instrumentation.
This informal mini-workshop will explore the motivation and potential implementations of GLAO. Discussions will be free-form and new ideas and interchange are welcome.
