1. Science Operations during the PD phase (from May 2008 till 2010)

I start with more questions than answers for our planning. Here is a ppt file presenting my way to look at the process with many questions..

Certainly, the main activities for the Science Operations will be:

• Develop the Observing Scenarios. This is a task under WBS 3.1.2 (Science Observing Planning and Execution). The Observing scenarios and the Use Cases are captured in the Operations Concept Document (which is a deliverable of WBS 3.2 (Requirements).
  • This is the page dedicated to the observing scenarios.
• Develop the Operations Sequences Architecture (WBS 3.4.4) which are likely to be derived from the Use Cases in the OCD. I am not sure yet whether the Operations Sequences Architecture will be included in the OCD.
• Develop the design for the Multi-system Command Sequencer (WBS 6.1) and User Interfaces (WBS 6.2), etc
