Notes:
Transients of the Week: |
|

- ZTF21abcmxgn: very young and in a cluster environment. Could be high velocity?
- Too date for the fast U-band trigger project.
- ZTF21abxfyaw: beautiful; now at peak: 1.3 magnitudes of extinction (from MW). Can be used to estimate MW dust law.
- This is going to be a paper at some stage; wave if you want to be involved!
- LCO/LT for u->z band? Is SEDm oversubscribed for this? Contact Dan P for LT time.
- There's LT data (U-band and NIR) for some objects from 2020; check to see the quality? this data has not been looked at properly.
- ZTF21abwtybk: stunning light-curve; now at peak.

- 4pm Wednesday (Europe time) is the preferred time from the doodle poll. Looking forward to Adam joining us!
- This is 1 hour later of the existing time.
- Last chance to vote is now!
The Sample:
- ZTFDR2 is coming together: Mat has pulled together all of the objects that we should be using for Ia population studies. We have 2000 cosmological Ia's
- Of course this list is not complete, and needs to be refined
- There are also lists from AMPEL (TNS classifications) and the Marshall that need to be pulled together
- In short, no-one has a single list of everything that has been confirmed as a Ia from ZTF
- Conclusion: this list needs to be online and available for everyone to access
- Mat to work with Valery and Joel on this.
- There are outliers that need to be dealt with: so there will also be comment files, which can be used to reject events
- This is also a starting point for pulling together redshifts, etc. Note that BTS are reanalysing this, so that needs to be included.
- Hopefully a starting list by next week
- Contact Mickael if you'd like to use the sample for a project
