Participants (13):

- Apologies: Remy J, Jakob N, Kate M
Notes:
Transients of the Week:
- ZTF21acljgsm: is an old SN that's suddenly started being detected in g-band.
- ZTF21acjvjyk, ZTF21aclhsxb, ZTF21aclzodp, : caught early - will be prioritised for a spectrum at peak
- ZTF21acjtxgr: 91T on the rise
- ZTF21acjgmiy, ZTF21acjgafq, ZTF21acjbqrn: highly extincted SN caught early
- ZTF21acjxjpu: typed by 'the zooniverse' as a Ia-CSM: it isn't! This is a new 'feature' that should be discussed :).
- Let's use the fritz-users space for this!
Simulations:
- Who's working on simulations?!
- Melissa (working on anistropies); Suhail (working on populations); Mark M (working on rates)
- Key questions:
- are we all doing different things? Answer 'sort-of': let's talk about it!
- are we using the same inputs? Answer 'maybe': let's ensure we are all starting from the same point
- Let's have a zoom meeting by the end of month to talk about simulations and output papers :).
DR2 Updates:
- Misc: Jakob is setting up a meeting between the 'light-curve' teams
- Mickael: the Paris group are setting up the SMP pipeline: if it works then maybe the DR2 release will switch to that
- Question: can we use that instead of FP everywhere?
- Answer: probably not: FP is easy and so great for early time information.
- Discussion: why are the FP light-curves often so different from the alerts?
Closing remarks:
- Fill in the spreadsheet to volunteer.... Georgios last week was a great example of it being a positive experience :).
