Difference: 2018-05-10 (1 vs. 2)

Nadia has produced several plots based on all detections of a few hundred real and bogus objects. Various cuts on psf, fwhm etc. reveal portions of the parameter space that we could remove as it has only bogus objects (in terms of alerts). Not all eliminated sources are astrophysically bogus. Otherwise they would not have multiple detections per object. Many of them are likely variables, some galaxy centers (but likely alerted on due to bad subtractions rather than genuine transient-like activity).

We are implementing the following AFTER RB classification so that the number of bogus alerts is reduced.

Eliminate objects with: (1) nbad > 4 (2) FWHM > 6 (3) chiPSF > 6 (check up to 12) (4) elong > 1.6 (check up to 1.8) (5) magPSF-magAP > 0.6 (6) magPSF-magAP < -0.5

A bit hesitant about applying a min dist cut

A somewhat wider volume of the parameter space needs to be watched. For example, inspect those with 6 < FWHM < 9, combined with some other such extensions. But this can come a bit later once our training sample has grown.

Paper: Many contributions made to the paper. Some more are awaited, and then consolidation to be done.

Zooniverse: Under 150 classifications last week. That is less than 1 minute per person during the entire week.
