Set E Focus Testing

Theta Focus

• Re-cabled to set E (essentially set D, but with substitutions from set B for non-funcitonal postitioners)
• frequency calibration completed (looks normal)
• made new msim scripts
  • 2014_08_13_thetaTilt_setE.lst
  • 2014_08_13_phiTilt_setE.lst
• Merged set D and set B xml database into a set E file 'setE_allMaps_081314.xml'
  • Set D = allMaps_072114_1_adj10
  • Set B = allMaps_070114adj2
  • Set E = the Set D map, but with pid 5,6 and 8 from Set B
• Generated focus targets using setE map
• Loaded setE xml into mSim and copied over Set E Theta Targets
• Finished all 12 Theta targets with videos

Phi Focus

• Copied over phi targets
• Re-started mSim and loaded 2014_08_13_phiTilt_setE.lst
• Everything ready to start the next morning

mSim Code Update (Prior to Set E focus testing)

Summary of updates

• If angle calculated beyond motor map value, it will extrapolate step count (instead of crashing)
• Added check to verify that individual logs can open and will print error if it cannot open.
• Added extra structure to the database
  • Cluster Map
  • All old xml database files are forward compatible
