COBRA HANDLING AND SAFETY

MISC TO DO

  • Find fiber technician. Ask Rob Smythe, Feng Zhao, Bijan Nemati for recommendations.
  • Procedure for making our own fiducials from commercially purchased fiber

10354706; BRACKET, JIG, ALIGNMENT Focus Adjust Fixture Bracket Up to date   In Solidworks. Solidworks part files, drawing files, and assembly files attached in Zip file. Drawing attached as PDF.
10354722; FIXTURE, MOTOR MAPPING, COBRA Motor Mapping Fixture In work   In Teamcenter. Part/drawing file: ejp_pfs_motor_mapping_fixture. Assembly file: ejp_pfs_motor_mapping_asm2. Drawing attached as PDF. Status: Spacers will be needed between the stage and the fixture. (Currently one of the micrometers on the stage intersects the fin). Threaded holes for fiducials will need to be resized to fit whatever fiducial mount we choose.
10354721; FIXTURE, CHECKOUT, COBRA Cobra Checkout Fixture Up to date   In Teamcenter. Part/drawing file: ejp_pfs_checkout_fixture Assembly file: ejp_pfs_checkout_fixture_asm Drawing attached as PDF. Do those bolt patterns for the driver boards match the current NST design for GEN3? Flex routing currently looks like itll have to jump over the ledge that holds the cobras. We should make sure that is possible and if not, ask NST for longer flex from the cobra, or order extension cables, or some other solution. Look into plastic nuts for integrating cobras here so as not to damage threads.
10354724; BRACKET, TURNOVER FIXTURE Flotron Bracket Up to date   In Teamcenter. Part/drawing file: ejp_pfs_turnover_fixture_bracket Assembly file: ejp_pfs_turnover_fixture_asm Drawing attached as PDF.
NO DRAWING NUMBER OR NAME GSE Cap OLD   In Teamcenter. Part file: ejp_pfs_GSE_cap Assembly file: ejp_pfs_GSE_cap_asm No Drawing. Lacks Drawing.
