Nightly Summaries

10/15/08 UT
Clear, seeing ~1.9" in V. Laser power 6.0 W. Attempted to diagnose BTO servo loop instability; unsuccessful. LGS FWHM ~2.8", HOWFS return = 30000 DN/s. LGS-corrected images 1.2" FWHM on SWIFT IFU (~800nm wavelength). Observed one SWIFT LGS science target for 2 hrs.

Partly cloudy, seeing 0.9" in V. Laser power 5.8 W. LGS FWHM 1.9", HOWFS return = 12500 DN/s. LGS Strehl ~20% in K. Science observing 10:30pm - 06:00am.
