Palomar Automated Airspace Safety Systems

Palomar's multi-tiered airspace safety system consists of an all-sky visible camera (ASCAM), a narrow-field mid-infrared camera (IRCAM), and a narrow-beam radar. At present, these are used in concert with human spotters to assure aircraft safety during laser operations.
