Palomar/PTF WebShutter
The shutter assembly is a commercial unit although customized for our application. The supplied documentation therefore only approximates what we have, although it is probably a complete description of the control interface. The serial connection is not needed for our application; only the TTL input will be used. One of the camera control boxes ("MASTER") has a shutter control BNC connector. Internally this connects to a shutter control TTL signal on a newly supplied power board from Leach. This BNC drives the active low shutter open input on the Sci-In Tech controller (i.e. a TTL-LO will open the shutter and a TTL-HI will close it). -- DavidHale - 18 Jul 2008| I | Attachment | Action | Size | Date | Who | Comment |
