  • Shri Kulkarni: Faculty at Caltech. My interests as related to the partnership high cadence survey are (1) Early studies of type I supernovae, with a specific interest in Ia supernoave and (2) Search for Afterglows of Relativistic Explosions (Orphans, Dirty Fireballs). The latter is the thesis project of my student Anna Ho. I plan to devote half of my time to a program based on MSIP surveys undertaking a number of projects (e.g. Kulkarni, Miller & Perley 2017; astroph).
