Description/Plans:
We have already processed ZTF DR2 and applied the source classification pipelines to it. We are in the process of using some of our computing resources to period find DR3.

Needs:

  1. A fast implementation of ALeRCE's Irregular Autoregressive Model to add to the light curve features.
  2. A study on the analysis choices made in the DR2 analysis
    • Restricting to one point within 30 minutes (to remove high cadence data)
    • Restricting to periods greater than 30 minutes (to make computing tractable)
    • Restricting to a minimum of 50 points per light curve (for metric efficacy)
    • Period range exclusions (to remove effects from cadence aliasing)
    • Period finding choices, including the choice of the oversampling factor
  3. Combining photometric points from other surveys (PTF data?)
  4. Clipping light curves for outlier removal, either using a comparison with a given sigma-difference or percentile based cuts.
