Transients of the Week: |

- ZTF21aambvzd: highly redenned nearby Ia.
- ZTF21aamsiqk: Ia, caught early. Close to galactic plane (Ag=3). Ideal to test galactic extinction maps + R_V along this line-of-sight.
- This is at max: target this for NIR follow-up.
- + a couple of other ambiguous classifications caused by the moon. Someone needs to look at this.

- Hyperspectral modelling in SEDm.
- Using photometric measurements from PS1 to infer a spectral host model. By convolving this with the SEDm resolution (and correcting for ADR effects), he can find the underlying host contamination in an SEDm spectrum.
- Working at the pixel level for PS1. Resampling the images to SEDm spaxels. SED fitting (LePhare) to get a virtual IFU for every pixel with S/N>4 (otherwise there's nothing to fit ;)).
- Precise astrometry in SEDm is an issue.
- It works! It could be better, but the SN is clearly visible when before it wasn't ;). It takes about 15 mins per object.
- Not so great for objects in the core of hosts: the SED model is important.
- Improvements to be made in the fitting assumptions, photometric catalogue, PSF modelling and time taken.
- Could use existing spectra (SDSS) of the host to constrain the model.
- Can be used as a model for the host of the SNe: it's basically an IFU of the field.
- Code is available on GitHub.
- Help for implementing extensions would be appreciated

- This is a survey with DECAM to get griz measurements of low redshift SN.
- The aim is to anchor the Hubble diagram with the same filter set as at high-z.
- Primary target feeder is likely to be ZTF/SEDm with probably ATLAS on the side.
- What shall we do about this? This is a bigger scale question than can be summed up in some notes.
