      • Cuts on everything from goodness of subtraction -> duration of light-curve.

  • This machinery has been used to generate DESI target lists
  • Preprocessing to remove AGNs
  • Need to compare to simulations
  • Break the sample in to bins of apparent magnitude
  • Comparing the various subsamples will give us the selection functions.
  • The current problem is in force-photometry: uncertainties are under-estimated and there are outliers that need rejecting.
