• Ariel has been talking to WEAVE folks regarding getting host spectra but their FoV is small
• There is a meeting regarding 4MOST at ESO in May. Would be good if someone went.

Young SNe

• Mattia has worked on young SNe Ia from yr1 using forced photometry of partnership high-cadence observations
• There are 161 SNe after cuts on age at discovery etc. and 54 have host redshifts
• Mattia will write paper on color evolution, while Yuhan Yao will summarize the sample selection and Adam Miller will present the rise times
• Lightcurves were fit using the formula from Zheng et al. 2017
• Color evolution has implications on the Ni-56 mass and could put quite strong constraints on double-detonation scenario

Star flats

• Matteo showed a quick update on the star flats
• g and R look nice but i-band is funky, havinf many features and weird distributions in some channels, as well as not just one but two rings across the whole FoV
