SNIFS observing

• First night: June 11 (main shifter Daniel)
• For now there will be more manual work than usual. Once things are more automated, we can start training people.

AMPEL status

• Matteo is testing filters
• T3 level nearly ready
• Need to test filters to reduce numbers of transients that get through
• Maayane's catalogs have been copied and the

SEDM analysis

• Mickael worked on WCS solution for standard stars
• Will be able to guess precisely where an object is

SDSS-V

• Thomas Kupfer is involved with SDSS-V
• Could be useful for us, potentially typing SNe at max (we expect about 300 not typed by SEDM per year) but since it will likely start in 2021 it will be too late
• Can also be used for getting host redshifts when SEDM spectra aren't good enough.

Current SN Ia statistics

• Uli has put together some code to download LCs from Marshal and then fit a template to get time of peak.
• Combining this with ZTF pointing history, we can see that we have 18 SNe Ia with potentially sufficient i-band coverage.
• It will still be some time until IPAC will make i-band reference (need 20 images - thus 80 days at 4-day cadence)
• But we can start looking at some isolated SNe using IPAC catalogs, which should be available.
