Thomas K: ZTF workshop last week, very productive meeting, start discussion of science validation plans. So far Galactic Plane sweep, deep drilling field at low Galactic latitudes maybe Kepler field(s), M31, North America/Orion nebula. Please send me ideas. Specific schedule will probably be set by the end of September

Kevin: Running lomb-scargle period finding algorithm on all lightcurves from PTF. Timescales of weeks to run all of PTF down to short periods. Finding mostly contact binaries but also many other interesting things

Daniel: continue to work on the microlensing work, including different filters to remove ‘bad’ light curves, checked now 2.1 Mio objects, will work on ideas to implement

Michael: Graduate student at UC Berkley working with Peter Nugent, will do more work on Galactic science in the future. Will visit Caltech sometime in October

Monika: finish up paper on an interesting M31 foreground source, focus now on the M31 RSG paper
