Nomenclature

LGS WFS unit

This is the entire LGS WFS package containing the 9 LGS WFS channels, LGS OSM and all structure required to hold them together

LGS WFS channel

An assembled unit that contains all the LGS WFS components for single LGS channel. There are 9 LGS WFS channels.

LGS OSM

The LGS Object Selection Mechanism. This selects the LGS stars across the LGS field of view and feeds them to the relevant LGS WFS channel.
