Justin Belicki: Self Encoding Electro-Permanent Magenets

Inductors are complicated and permananet magnets doubly so. Justin reports on a clever method to encode a magnetic latch with no additional parts. These are the latches used in the ZTF filter exchange robot, that require extreme relaibility.
