All things to do with PFI configuration timing.

-- Timing Gantt charts (MS Project files w/ 1 day == 1 second real time)

  • PFS_Timing_PFICS_timing_xls.mpp: [updated 30Nov2012] This captures the timing spreadsheet (PFICS timing.xls) that Reed distributed ~Nov 12 to Mark Schwockert and Naoyuki Tamura. I've used much more aggressive times for computations and communications, but the dependency layout is identical to that of the spreadsheet.
  • PFS_Timing_syseng127.mpp: [updated 03Dec2012] This captures the timing model laid out by Naoyuki Tamura in an email to the Systems Engineering groups (syseng:127). It is a strictly serial timing model. The time per step is based on information from the PFICS timing.xls spreadsheet
  • PFS_timing_strobe.mpp: Proposed MCS timeline for strobed back illumination with 0.5 sec readout. Three image acquisitions are shown in the schedule, though it could be extended to an arbitrary number of cycles.

  • Setup_timing_model_description.ppt: This has a field-setup timing diagram (p3) and a description of PHM's matlab code that figures out observing efficiency vs. various timing parameters and models.

  • PFS_sequence.pdf: High level description of critical timing events. Written in response to Shiang-Yu's 10/19/2012 msg to syseng group.
