All things to do with PFI configuration timing.

-- Two MS Project files

  • PFS_Timing_PFICS_timing_xls.mpp: 1s in the timing model is shown as 1 DAY in this file. This captures the timing spreadsheet (PFICS timing.xls) that Reed distributed ~Nov 12 to Mark Schwockert and Naoyuki Tamura. I've used much more aggressive times for computations and communications, but the dependency layout is identical to that of the spreadsheet.
  • PFS_Timing_syseng127.mpp: 1s in the timing model is shown as 1 MINUTE in this file. This captures the timing model laid out by Naoyuki Tamura in an email to the Systems Engineering groups (syseng:127). It is a strictly serial timing model. The time per step is based on information from the PFICS timing.xls spreadsheet

  • Setup_timing_model_description.ppt: This has a field-setup timing diagram (p3) and a description of PHM's matlab code that figures out observing efficiency vs. various timing parameters and models.

  • PFS_sequence.pdf: High level description of critical timing events. Written in response to Shiang-Yu's 10/19/2012 msg to syseng group.
