• Interval – The combined time of the pulse-duration and ringout-time. One motor step occurs in one interval.
• Duration – The length of time in which a 2-phase driving signal, the pulse, is used move the cobra during one step.
• Ontime - Same as Duration.
• Offtime - The ring-out time = Interval - Ontime.
• Ringout-time – The length of time in between pulse-durations in which there is no driving signal applied to the motor.
• Step – The combination of one pulse-duration and one-ringout time in succession.
• Move – One or more steps in a series.
