Fast Motor Maps
- Switched cabling from Set B to Set C
- Removed filters from camera
- Loaded "090314_setC_allmaps_adj3.xml" into MSIM for last known link lengths/centers
- Ran "2014_10_10_FASTmsimMotMap.lst" to create Fast Motor Maps
- Used on-times of 0.3msec with 2.5ms intervals for both Theta and Phi motors
- Moves of 10 steps between images
- Noticed odd results for pId 6 during Theta Fwd map. Phi Angle was nominally around 170deg, then jumped to 121deg for a number of moves before jumping back to 170deg. Note that at the very bottom of the image it looks like Phi jumped back to ~121deg again.
- pid6 Theta Fwd Fast Map Log - Odd Result:
- Possible source of this weird behavior is a shaft coupler de-bonding.
- Based on visual inspection (Charlie) the coupler is still in place axially (hasn't slid off the shaft). Should continue to monitor pid6 for more signs of failed bond.
- Aborted MSIM script because pid1, pid5 and pid8 didn't make a full revolution on Theta Fwd. Need to add more iterations.
- Updated MSIM script and re-ran in MSIM
- Moves of 15 steps and increased to 200 iterations for Theta
- Kept moves of 10 steps for Phi
- Still seeing odd behavior with pid6 (Phi jumping between ~170deg and 120deg) on Theta Fwd results
- General observation is that Phi is drifting around on some of the results. Very possible that centers and link lengths need to be determined again
