Functionality list

GUI

• Create a GUI for the focus of the spectrograph. At the moment, we are running: SpecFocus.focus_loop from the console.
• Add the option to do multiple exposures on the Fourshot GUI. It will allow to go deeper by stacking images.
• Display somewhere the status of the shutter. At the moment our only guide is the elapsed exposure time.

LOGGING

• Make the logs to be 'rolling'. Directing to another log file passed midnight.

TROUBLESHOOTING

• For the 'Fourshot', fix the timing between the movement of the telescope and the exposure. The exposure shall start only after the telescope has been moved.
• For the 'Fourshot', make sure there are no errors for short exposures (1 or 2s).

Fits files

• Add field called 'INSTRUME' and 'TELESCOP' to the fits headers.
• Add field to fits file called IMAGETYPE: BIAS, DOME, FLAT, OBJECT, OTHER, SKYFLAT,STD,WAVE
• Add field called RDNOISE: The 2 MHz mode has ~20 e- of read noise, and a clear non-random signal. The 100 kHz mode has about 4 e- of read noise.
