PALMAO ICD

The Palomar AO Interface Control Document summarizes as best as possible the necessary considerations for anyone who wishes to install an instrument on the PALMAO system. These interfaces include (1) optical (2) electrical (3) network and connectivity (4) mounting, handling and alignment and (5) Palomar services such as dry N2 in the Cass cage.

The critical point is that this document relates to instruments wishing to use the PALMAO system after the optical re-layout that will occur early 2008. However, except for the focus location, all remaining interface items listed in the icd will virtually be identical.

The ICD is still fluid as we're learning a lot this year with the arrival of several science experiments. Please bare with us until a complete version is available.
