P3k NGS Relay:

This is the optical design and layout for the P3k NGS system. The Solidworks drawings are in the COO vault.

P3k Relay testing:

The following are a few possibilities for the P3k relay. These are not complete and are intended only to allow others to play around with the possible layouts. They do include actual mount and clear aperture sizes for the LODM, HODM and TTM, as well as the edges of the optical bench. Both DMs have an AOI of 13 degrees and if the HODM remains at ground conjugate, the LODM is 700m above the ground.

This layout has the HODM at ground conjugate with an AOI of 10 degrees and the LODM conjugate to 824m above the ground with an AOI of 17 degrees. The total FOV is 120" diameter. The beam height off the bench is 216mm.
