Amenities at Indian Wells include: swimming pool and hot therapy pool overlooking the 11th green of the Indian Wells Country Club, two outdoor tennis courts, complete fitness center, four acres of recreational lawn, and 36 holes of golf. Wireless internet connection is in every guest room, and the meeting room.

Meals: “Deluxe” continental breakfast is included with the room fees; it’s available from 6:30 to 10:30 each morning in the Loren Restaurant.

Over seven miles of beautiful trails to explore among 4500 acres of lush vegetation. A birdwatcher's and hiker's paradise. Picnic facilities are available. Take I-10 West to Highway 62 through Morongo Valley business district and take a right onto East Drive.

This 1200-acre interpretive center features mountain lions, wolves, javelina, bobcats, golden eagles and much more. A natural setting nestled at the foot of the Santa Rosa Mountains. Take Highway 111 east to Palm Desert, turn right on Portola Avenue.

54 miles of hiking trails, camping and picnic areas, guided wilderness mule rides during snow-free months. Cross-country ski equipment rentals during winter. This state park is only accessible by hiking or taking the Palm Springs Tramway.

Travel expenses: Please coordinate with you home institution about travel fees and reimbursement for mileage. All hotel fees will be paid in advance by Caltech. We will then bill each partner for the fees for its participants.
