8:30 am- POINT DESIGN
Proposal philosophy, design philosophy
- Review architecture choices (relay vs. AM2 vs. MEMS)
Mark I: narrow-field AO point design. Shoot at initial point design in light of:
- Wavefront error budget
- Sky Coverage estimates
- Photometry budgets (LGS,NGS,Sci)
Identify trade studies for System Design Phase
Identify key risk areas
Make initial Proposal writing assignments (technical section)

Mark II: wide-field AO architecture options
