---++ Mechanical Metrology

All measurements were taken with a Faro Arm Platinum (S/N: TBD).  The values below are the average of the total measurements taken.  See excel [[%ATTACHURL%/Mosfire_Alignment_Database.xlsx][worksheet]] for individual measurements.

   * _Units = inches, degrees_
   * _Coordinate System = As defined in MMDN3404 section 2.1.1_
   * _N = Total number of measurements taken_
   * _X, Y, Z, Alpha, Beta, Gamma = Nominal coordinates taken from MMDN3404 which are based on the MOSFIRE CAD model_
   * _Alpha = the angle between the X axis and the surface normal_
   * _Beta = the angle between the Y axis and the surface normal_
   * _Gamma = the angle between the Z axis and the surface normal_
   * _d(coordinate) = (Nominal Value) - (Measured Value)_

   * _Coordinate System = As defined in MMDN3404 section 2.2.1_
   * _N = Total number of measurements taken_
   * _Orientation = The orientation of the optical axis wrt to gravity_
   * _X = the relative distance between the scopes reticle and the cross-hair target in the X coordinate_
   * _Y = the relative distance between the scopes reticle and the cross-hair target in the Y coordinate_   
   * _Z = the relative distance between the scopes reticle and the cross-hair target in the Z coordinate_
